If the laptop is displaying a D-Box related message/error:

  • Restart laptop

  • If the error persists, check the simulator’s actuators (simulator legs) for any pinched or obstructed cables. If you find a pinched cable, carefully and gently free it from the actuator, taking care not to damage the cable.

  • If the error persists, close all open programs and disconnect the USB cable from the laptop. Wait a few seconds, then reconnect the USB cable. Launch the SLI Launcher. If the error no longer appears, the issue has been resolved.

  • If the error persists, unplug the simulator’s power cord from the wall outlet and close all open programs. Wait a few seconds, then plug the simulator’s power cord back into the wall outlet.

The actuators (simulator legs) will reset and may make a thumping or clicking sound during the reset process. If you do not hear any sound, check that the power cable is securely connected.

Once the actuators have reset, launch the SLI Launcher. If the error no longer appears, the issue has been resolved.
